The Bellville Brahmas are off to a 2 - 0 start for the first time since 2011. After their opening win against Madisonville, the Bulls traveled to Bay City and ground out a 24 - 15 win. The 1 - 1 Stafford Spartans are headed to season home opener in the Pasture of Pain after a 41 - 14 opening win over Paetow and a loss to Calhoun by the score of 28 - 7. The Bellville Brahmas will face the Bay City Blackcats in Bay City on Friday night at 7:30pm. Bellville defeated Madisonville 10 - 7 last week in Madisonville on a fourth quarter comeback. Bay City fell to Cuero 49 - 42 last week, as the Blackcats rallied from 20 points down in the 4th quarter, only to see Cuero score a a 92 yard touchdown pass to win it.
